MAX25608 12-Switch LED Matrix Manager

Analog Devices Inc. MAX25608 12-Switch High Brightness LED Matrix Manager is designed for automotive lighting with a 12-switch array for bypassing individual LEDs in a single or dual string application. Twelve individually controlled N-channel MOSFET switches rated for 14V with an on-resistance of 0.06Ω are also featured on the MAX25608. A single current source powers all the LEDs connected in the series. The LED Matrix Manager can also be configured in two-string applications with six switches in series per string. Each switch can be connected across one, two, or three LEDs in series. The MAX25608 enables the parallel connection of two switches to bypass high-current LEDs. The IC includes an internal charge pump that provides power for the gate drive for the LED bypass switches.

IS32LT3175N/P Single-Channel Linear LED Drivers

ISSI IS32LT3175N/P Single-Channel Linear LED Drivers come with fade in/out and PWM dimming. The regulators serve as a stand-alone LED driver-configurable from 20mA to 150mA with external resistors, no microcontroller is necessary. A logic level “courtesy light” signal from the PWM pin can be interfaced to precisely drive the LED channel. The IS32LT3175P obtains a positive polarity PWM signal. In addition, the IS32LT3175N obtains a negative polarity PWM signal. The regulator integrates a 63-step fade-in and fades out the algorithm (Gamma correction). This causes the output LED current to increasingly rise up to the full source value after the EN pin is pulsed.
