Resettable PTC Fuses

Bel Fuse Resettable PTC Fuses offer superior circuit protection in traditional radial lead and SMD chip packages. Resettable PTC Fuses protect against harmful overcurrent, short circuit conditions, and over-temperature conditions not necessarily caused by excessive current. Bel Fuse Resettable PTC Fuses are ideal for industrial, low-voltage USB equipment, security systems, and test equipment applications.

SMT & Radial Lead PTC Resettable Fuses

Bel Fuse SMT and Radial Lead Positive Temperature Coefficient (PTC) Resettable Fuses offer circuit protection with an added resettable feature. They are available in low-profile SMT packages or traditional radial lead packages. Similar to Bel's extensive line of traditional fuse products, these resettable fuses protect against harmful overcurrent and short circuit conditions. These PTC devices can also be used to protect against overtemperature conditions that are not necessarily caused by excessive current. Bel Fuse PTC Resettable Fuses will reset after power to the circuit is removed, the fault is cleared, and power is reapplied to the circuit. This reset ability protects electronic equipment, which remains fully functional, and eliminates the need to physically replace a fuse.
