EV Applications

Bourns provides a broad range of reliable products ideal for electric vehicle (EV) applications. The portfolio features hybrid GMOV components with engineered MOV-GDT pairings, ChipGuard® MLC automotive ESD protectors with low capacitance and a fast response time, BMS signal transformers with AEC-Q200 compliance, and SMF4L-Q transient voltage suppressor diodes that are AEC-Q101 compliant. Additional Bourns components for EV applications include MF-USMF and MF-NSMF Multifuse® PTC resettable fuses with AEC-Q200 compliance as well as a wide selection of inductors and resistors. Bourns automotive products are reliable, effective, cost-effective, and manufactured in accordance with the IATF 16949:2016 standard.

SRF High Current Power Inductors

Bourns SRF High Current Power Inductors are designed for automotive and electronic applications and feature an overall inductance range of 0.47µH to 6500µH. These inductors are offered in a comprehensive range of package sizes and current ratings. Bourns SRF High Current Power Inductors include AEC-Q200-qualified variants. Typical automotive applications for these inductors include driver assistant devices, information and entertainment systems, and lighting. The modules are also suitable for power line noise countermeasures and electromagnetic interference (EMI) suppression in a variety of electronic devices.  

SRF0703A Dual-Winding Shielded Power Inductors

Bourns SRF0703A Dual-Winding Shielded High Current Power Inductors can be utilized in parallel, series, dual-inductor, and transformer configurations. These magnetically shielded, low radiation inductors offer heating currents up to 2.19A and an inductance range of 8.2µH to 600µH. Other features include a storage and operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C and a ferrite core. Bourns SRF0703A Dual-Winding Shielded High Current Power Inductors are AEC-Q200 qualified, halogen free, and RoHS compliant. Ideal applications are various automotive systems, DC/DC converters, and power supplies. 

Automotive Inductors

Bourns Automotive Inductors are small, high current auto inductors featuring low DCRs. These inductive components meet the board-level requirements of many automotive applications. All Bourns components that are approved for automotive applications are manufactured in facilities that are fully certified to TS 16949 and have been tested and qualified using the AEC-Q200 specification for passive components. The inductor lines offer next-generation signal conditioning for lighting, comfort, positioning, networking, electrification, infotainment, and many other applications.
