Festo EPCS Electric Cylinder Units feature a quiet and precise ball screw drive, ideal for the simplest movement and positioning tasks. These compact, cost-effective units are suitable for precise and fast movement in sorting, distribution, and clamping applications. The EPCS devices are part of the Simplified Motion Series, meaning they are easy to configure, can be put into operation without software, and do not require an external servo drive or control cabinet for installation. Two control options are integrated as standard: digital I/O and IO-Link. Festo EPCS Electric Cylinder Units provide a complete solution, comprising drive mechanics, a motor, and a servo drive. The series is suitable for the simple implementation of pressing and clamping applications for forces up to 900N.
