Hirose Electric FH12 series offers a 0.5mm and a 1mm pitch FPC / FFC Connector. The Flip-Lock design allows side-by-side connector placement and requires low force to lock the actuator. The FH12 FPC / FFC Connector from Hirose supports thin (0.18mm) FPC and is offered in three different assembly types. Applications for the connector include notebook computers, printers, PDAs, digital cameras, and other compact devices.

FFC/FPC Connectors

Hirose FFC/FPC Connectors are ideal when small centerline spacing makes larger wire-to-board connections impractical. Hirose FFC/FPC Connectors meet the demands for smaller centerline or pitch spacing, lower profile, and lighter interconnect solutions. These connectors provide reliable connections with a rotating actuator to secure the cable termination and a robust lock structure with a unique contact design.

Hirose Electric FH12 0.5mm/1mm FPC/FFC Connectors feature a rotating one-touch ZIF mechanism that eases operation and works with a light force. These connectors deliver a clear tactile click when the mating process successfully completes. The FH12 board mount connectors offer 4 to 53 positions with a 500mA current rating in a -40°C to +85°C temperature range.
