KYOCERA AVX provides a large portfolio of capacitor solutions designed around density, size, and reliability requirements. Common capacitor types include aluminum electrolytic, tantalum electrolytic, ceramic, and film. KYOCERA AVX ceramic capacitors are commonly used in DC-DC converters, which can be found in nearly every subsystem of electric vehicles (EVs). 

FLB Medium Power Film Capacitors

KYOCERA AVX FLB Medium Power Film Capacitors are high-quality, highly reliable double-safety devices with high dielectric strength in operating conditions up to +85°C. The high dielectric strength is possible due to a metallized polypropylene dielectric aluminum can that is infused with specially treated soft PU. In addition, this series offers two safety devices: overpressure disconnect and self-healing technology. KYOCERA AVX FLB Medium Power Film Capacitors feature include high ripple current, long life, and continued functionality after a 5% capacitance decrease, a major advantage of film capacitors over aluminum electrolytic capacitors.
