TJA1145A High-Speed CAN Transceivers

NXP Semiconductors TJA1145A High-Speed Controller Area Network (CAN) Transceivers provide an interface between a CAN protocol controller and the physical two-wire CAN bus. These CAN transceivers support reliable communication in the CAN FD fast phase at data rates up to 5Mbps. Other features include low power consumption in standby and sleep modes and support of ISO 11898-2:2016-compliant CAN partial networking. NXP TJA1145A transceivers are designed for high-speed CAN applications in the automotive industry, providing differential transmit and receive capability to a microcontroller with a CAN-protocol controller. Typical applications include door, sunroof, seat, and trunk modules, as well as window lifters, park assistance, trailer interfaces, park-heating systems, and rearview cameras.

Functional safety is critical as lithium-ion batteries pose a significant safety hazard when operating outside a safe area. These devices offer high measurement accuracy after soldering and aging, with ISO 26262 support and ASIL D functional safety capability.
