SCS Pan-Lug™ Compression Connectors - Splices

Panduit SCS Pan-Lug™ Compression Connectors - Splices are tested by Telcordia to meet NEBS Level 3 specifications. These copper butt splices are offered with a standard or flared barrel and with or without an inspection window. The inspection window helps to visually assure full conductor insertion. These connectors use internal wire stops to prevent over-insertion of the conductor, and the tin-plate material inhibits corrosion. The color-coded barrels are marked with Panduit die index numbers to ensure proper crimp die selection. Panduit SCS Pan-Lug Compression Connectors are UL listed and CSA certified to 35KV and temperature rated to +90°C. Type SCS is ideal for use with stranded copper conductors, while Type SCSF is suited for use with flexible and extra-flexible copper conductors and can be used with flex conductor classes K, M, and diesel locomotive.
