Railway & Harsh Industrial 12:1 DC/DC Converters

TRACO Power Railway and Harsh Industrial Ultra-Wide 12:1 DC/DC Converters, covering 9VDC to 75VDC or 14VDC to 160VDC input ranges, are suitable for harsh environments and are available in 10 power levels in five packages ranging from 10W to 200W. The ultra-wide input design allows the converter to act as an all-in-one solution if different input voltage ranges need to be covered in the same application, solving the issue of using multiple converters or having multiple solutions with different DC input ranges. The UIR products from TRACO Power offer reliable performance under the harshest environmental conditions. Additional features include high efficiency of up to 91%, a -40°C to +85°C ambient operating temperature range, and an I/O isolation voltage of 3000VAC. These DC/DC converters are designed for railway and challenging industrial applications requiring a robust solution.

TEP 150UIR & TEP 200UIR DC/DC Converters

TRACO Power TEP 150UIR and TEP 200UIR DC/DC Converters are offered in 150W or 200W fully encapsulated packages with an ultra-wide 12:1 input range of 14VDC to 160VDC. The TEP 150UIR and TEP 200UIR converters are designed for the highest reliability in demanding applications, allowing engineers to target an array of nominal system voltages with a single power supply design. Due to the dedicated holdup capacitor connection, the converters meet extended holdup-time requirements without requiring bulky input capacitors. These converters feature various protections, including short circuit, overvoltage, and overtemperature. TRACO Power TEP 150UIR and TEP 200UIR DC/DC Converters possess many certifications, such as EN 50155 for applications on rolling stock, EN 61373 for mechanical shock and vibration, EN45545-2 for fire behavior, and IEC/EN/UL 62368-1 for IT and general-purpose industrial applications.

Railway & Transit Ruggedized DC/DC Converters

TRACO Power Railway and Transit DC/DC Converters are qualified to EN 50155 and EN 61373 standards as well as UL 60950-1 approved. These converters are additionally certified to IEC/EN/UL 60950-1, and several product families in the TEQ series also carry UL 508 certification for demanding Industrial requirements. The product offering covers 3W to 300W, with PCB-mount units from 3W to 240W and chassis-mount types covering 20W to 300W. These converters offer continuous operational input ranges that exceed the defined input voltage ranges of EN 50155. The DC/DC converters have galvanic isolation up to 2250VDC (input-to-output or input-to-the-case).
