E-Beam Welded Shunt Resistors

Welwyn / TT Electronics E-Beam Welded Shunt Resistors are designed for high current measurements in the hundreds of amps range. These Welwyn / TT Electronics resistors offer low self-heating that improves reliability and reduces equipment temperature. E-Beam Welded Shunt Resistors are electron beam welded resistance elements sandwiched between large copper terminals with optional tin plating. These resistors feature high-precision current measurement with ±1% tolerance, low thermal EMF, low measurement inductance, and robust copper terminals for busbar mounting. The series is AEC-Q200 qualified. Typical applications include busbar current sense, energy metering, power supplies, steering control, motor drives, and HEV battery management.
